The New Opportunities Waiver (NOW) began in April 2003. The mission of the NOW program is to utilize the principles of self-determination to supplement the family and/or community supports while supporting dignity, quality of life, and security in the everyday lives of people while maintaining the Recipient in the community.
The Residential Options Waiver (ROW) was developed to assist people to transition from Intermediate Care Facilities for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ICD/IDD) to their own home in the community.
The Children’s Choice Waiver (CC) began in February 21, 2001 to offer supplemental support to children with developmental disabilities who currently live at home with their families or with a foster family! Children up to 20 years of age may qualify!
The Early Periodic Screening and Diagnostic Testing (EPSDT) Personal Care Services program can serve children who need personal care assistance such as preparing food, help with going to the bathroom, household chores, accompanying to medical appointments and more! All Medicaid recipients 0 to 21 may qualify!

The Supervised Independent Living (SIL) is a NOW (New Opportunities Waiver) program that provides skills training, personal care attendants, and other support services to enable consumers with developmental disabilities to live independently in the community. The goal of the SIL program is to teach functional skills which impact consumers’ abilities to perform as independently and as productively as possible.
The Supports Waiver (SW) program provides services in the home and in the community to individuals 18 years of age or older, who are eligible to receive OCDD waiver services. The SW is intended for individuals whose needs can be met by the services that are included in the waiver.
